If you see three stripes, it must be adidas! adidas is one of the best-known global sports brands, with German roots going back more than 120 years. The Dassler brothers (Rudolf and Adolf) first experimented with athletic shoes in their hometown Herzogenaurach, and after their (rather nasty) split, Adolf Dassler started adidas. Since then, adidas has made its mark in almost every sport, giving the world iconic sneakers such as the Stan Smith, the Superstar sneaker, the Adilette slipper, the Ultra Boost and even the Samba, now in its renaissance. Not to mention the Yeezy models - unfortunately this collaboration also ended with a split between Kanye West and the three-stripe brand.
